Why the Cardinal?
At my last job, I worked with a cardinal. Maybe it just felt like it, since he would appear at my window on a daily basis, showing up within an hour each morning that I arrived for work. Every time he appeared while I was in session, my clients’ reactions were the same. They were surprised, delighted, and interpreted the visit positively. Some felt the bird was bringing them luck, others remembered lost loved ones and viewed cardinals symbolically, while others took in the awe and wonder of nature and all its many surprises.
When choosing a name for my private practice, Cardinal Therapy seemed to fit. Like my cardinal, I meet with clients relatively briefly, but strive to create a lasting impression. I believe that human beings suffer when we close ourselves off from nature, so I regularly encourage clients to connect with their natural surroundings as an integral component of improving their mood and overall sense of well being. I let my personality shine brightly to form real and genuine relationships with my clients, and to make sure our visits are a positive force in their lives, propelling them towards their personal goals and aspirations.
